substantially limits one or more of the major life activities
of such individual
- A record of such an impairment
- Or being regarded as having such an
impairment
Inclined Platform Wheelchair Lifts -
are designed to transport wheelchair users or mobility impaired
pedestrians between building levels. A moving floor surface
follows steel tracks, usually in an existing stair case. They
can be used as part of an interior or exterior accessible
route. The Butler Inclined Platform Wheelchair Lift is an
excellent choice for interior applications.
Means of Egress- A continuous and unobstructed path of travel
from any occupied portion of a building or structure to a public
way.
Vertical Platform Wheelchair Lifts - allow transfer of
wheelchair users and mobility impaired pedestrians between one
or more levels. They require much less space than a ramp and
are often more cost effective. They can be used as part of an
interior or exterior accessible route. Vertical Platform
Wheelchair Lifts are often used to provide access to stage
areas, for judicial courtroom applications and assembly
seating. The Butler Vertical Platform Wheelchair Lifts are
specifically designed for stage access and judicial facility
applications.
