How to Use
Step 1

eases you gently into a seated position.

Self-Powered vs. Electric
Uplift
Technologies makes two different types of lifting cushions:
Electric Lifting Cushions - that lift 100% of
your weight, up to 300 lb (136 kg). These cushions need to be
plugged into a standard electrical socket.
Self-Powered, Assistive Lifting Cushions - will
lift up to 80% of your weight from 80 - 350 lb (35 - 154 kg) �
depending on the model you need. The lifting arm releases slowly
as you begin to stand. No batteries or electricity are required.
Both the Uplift and the UPEASY brands of
lifting cushions come in an electric and a self-powered version.
